| Does Indigo support USB serial port devices and Bluetooth serial port devices? |
| In most cases 'Yes'. Indigo is known to work with most USB serial port devices and Bluetooth serial port devices. There are a few devices that have limited drivers that don't adhere to the standard serial interface API and Indigo may not function correctly with these particular hardware devices. |

| My serial port is not showing up in Indigo. Is there a way to access serial ports that are not automatically detected by Indigo? |
| Yes. There are a few USB serial port devices that occupy com ports that Indigo does not auto-detect. We have enabled a manual configuration option that allows you to override the auto port detection behavior of Indigo and manually specify which com ports to make visible in Indigo. This manual configuration option can be found in the Program Preferences under the Com Port tab. |

| I cannot connect to com ports higher than port 16, how can I get Indigo to work with com ports above port 16? |
| Indigo facilitates serial communication through a Microsoft Serial Communication library that limits com ports to port 16 and below. If possible, reassign your serial port to com port 16 or below. If you cannot change the port number for your serial device, then there is an alternate solution. You will need to replace the Microsoft Serial Communication library with a modified version that enables ports above 16. Please download the following ZIP file and read the instructions for more information. |
